i am so mad at myself that i was tricked into believing barney and robin would have a happy ending and stay together. especially with so many hints given that ted and robin would end up together, which i kept ignoring and didn’t make a big deal of. especially bc marshall never paid up in the bet to lily that ted and robin wouldn’t end up together. that one pissed me off the most. it was something i ignored bc of everything else in that episode, but it was all a trick. ted and robin were endgame all along and i feel so dumb for actually believing they weren’t.
